Telephone, email and SMS advice Print E-mail

Patients are able to obtain advice or information related to their care by telephone, email or SMS provided that Dr Tingate determines that this is clinically safe and that a face-to-face consultation is unnecessary.

As a rule face-to face consultations are recommended. When this is not possible or deemed unnecessary, it is reasonable to contact the surgery in the following ways:

 

Voice messages may be left on 02 99298600 related to non-urgent issues.

This is a convenient way to leave information for Dr Tingate that does not require a reply. 

Voice messages will be reviewed by the next business day. Do not leave messages of an urgent nature

 

 

Information may be faxed to the surgery on 02 9009 0639

 

Email can be used for non-urgent issues that require a response within the same business day. The following email addresses are available:

SMS to 0432 575123 can be used for more urgent issues that require Dr Tingate's attention.

Please include your name and a clear message in the text. A reply will be generated in a timely manner.

RECEIVING AND RETURNING TELEPHONE CALLS, FAXES, EMAILS AND SMS POLICY
 

 
  1. Voice messages via 02 99298600 will be reviewed by the end of the next business day and will not be responded to as a matter of policy. This service should be used to leave non urgent information only.
  2. Faxed information via 02 9009 0639 will be reviewed by the end of the next business day and will not be responded to as a matter of policy.
  3. Messages received via email will be received and responded to within 24 hours
  4. Messages received via SMS will be received and responded to in a timely manner
